We've just got this from our Councillor - it's appalling that at the time when many of us help keep our neighbourhood clean (Earth Day Park Cleanup, No Litter Campaign) and more enjoyable to live in (Celebrate Community 21^st Tree Planting and Picnic), others indulge in senseless destruction of our common property!

It saddens and upsets me to inform you of the vandalism that has taken place at Lisgar Community Fields this past weekend. The perpetrators removed a large slab of concrete from the sitting wall near the park's spray pad and smashed it to pieces. Even worse, they removed four bolts from a piece of play equipment in the playground, leaving the structure in disrepair and a very real hazard and danger to the many children that play there!

This malicious behaviour must stop! Can you help me?

Statistics reveal that it is most likely one/some of our own residents and neighbours who has done this. Please talk about this with the people who live in your home. Ask if they've seen anything, or perhaps heard second- or even third-hand about who may be responsible.
